Car-top "saddle adapters" for Yakima "Mako" Saddles. These soft foam pads provide 160 Sq.in resting place for your canoe that the rack companies failed to provide. They're everything you need to make a perfect fit out of a lousy fit. They're sold as full sets for one boat, front & rear. please call if you only want half a set.
To install the HUKI saddle adapters, you brush contact cement or Gorilla glue (not included) on both the foam and the saddle, where the two will be attached. Line up the "inner edge" (narrow end) of the adapter pad with the inner edge of the saddle and press on. Wait about 15 minutes for the cement to "tack-up" (dry just a bit), then place the pad onto the saddle...it's stuck for good. Note: If you begin by drawing an outline of the pad's location on the saddle, you'll know exactly where to brush on the cement.
